Cardano (ADA) holders may soon get a great reward boost through a rumored Midnight Protocol airdrop campaign that might soon be activated.
Big Payday for Cardano (ADA) Holders?
The news was first shared on the X app by a community member @bigpeyYT. The news has stirred a new level of intrigue from the Cardano community as big pey is one of its respected members who has earned a following from the protocol’s parent company Input Output Global (IOG).
Following the post, some community members are already posting questions like what kinds of wallet will be needed to become eligible, or other criteria to adhere to. According to big pey, users may become eligible for the airdrop if their chosen Stake Pool Operators (SPOs) are running on Cardano. He noted that though the plans may change in the future, the stakers supporting Midnight are a priority for now.
While the official announcement is being awaited, Cardano (ADA) holders are banking on the close association between big pey and the project’s founders to gear up for the event.
Cardano introduced the Midnight Protocol and its native token DUST as one of its most profound efforts to actualize the dreams of decentralized privacy to meet the demands of several Web3.0 users.
While Midnight is not fully operational, IOG revealed earlier this month that it has selected the first group of pioneers for the Devnet. Known as a protocol with a penchant for decentralization, the Midnight Devnet might be opened to a broader spectrum of testers soon.

This year has been an eventful one for Cardano with several innovations coming alive on the mainnet. Earlier in the year, Cardano welcomed its algorithmic stablecoin DJED from Coti, repositioning the outlook of such tokens after the collapse of TerraUSD (UST) dampened sentiments in 2022.
